Initial brain dump.
It is possible to run [https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/iot/GetStarted Windows 10 on a Raspberry Pi for free]. The obsolete but "supported" [http://www.nordkeyboards.com/downloads/legacy/nord-modular Nord Modular patch editor] runs on Windows. This means a dedicated patch editor could theoretically run on an RPi with a 1024x768 screen, as that is the maximum resolution of the Nord editor software.

It is also possible to [http://www.instructables.com/id/PiMiDi-A-Raspberry-Pi-Midi-Box-or-How-I-Learned-to/ build a custom MIDI interface] using the UART pins on the Pi. This is required for programming the Nord via SysEx.

There's a Nord Micro Modular in the mix at the computer music workstation! Getting this thing to work is easy, using it as a modular synthesizer is hard. Because capitalism. It takes 12V at .5 amps.

It is possible to run Windows 10 on a Raspberry Pi for free. The obsolete but "supported" Nord Modular patch editor runs on Windows. This means a dedicated patch editor could theoretically run on an RPi with a 1024x768 screen, as that is the maximum resolution of the Nord editor software.

It is also possible to build a custom MIDI interface using the UART pins on the Pi. This is required for programming the Nord via SysEx.
