= Personal Philosophy =
I favor doing things and collaborating. I come to Noisebridge to hack because it is a hackerspace and was made for hacking.
I don't have time to listen to pitches, presentations, promotions or commercials.
If I'm wearing my headphones, I am focusing, since I come to Noisebridge to hack and since it is a hackerspace that is what you do.
I like people who do things.

=Associate Membership Application=
I go to hackerspaces because I love hacking stuff and making things.
We do not really fit into regular society, are temperamental and weird, but gee, we love to make things!

I'm currently an associate member.
== IMPORTANT: No nonconsensual business pitches at the hackerspace, please ==
I prefer engaging in Noisebridge in a creative way unfettered by a concern for making money. if you are trying to show me any start-up or business related content, please be transparent and please do not subject me to nonconsensual marketing pitches. There are better places for this in the many incubator spaces, business networking events, and VC offices throughout San Francisco and beyond.

== Skateboarding & Rollerskating ==

I was distracted, I messed up and I stopped skateboarding. it was the worst decision of my life, I can say I was seduced by handsome men, but in the end only I am to blame. I am also extremely uncool and sit at the nerds table in the cafeteria, so I do not fit in well with most people who skate and don't scream with joy when watching skate videos.

Help me get back on track. Convince me that skateboarding doesn't exist simply to replace snowboarding.

=== Skateboarding Don Quixote Impossible Dream ===
I do not think this dream of forming a Noisebridge Goth Girl / gay guy rollerskating + Skateboarding crew that can transition easily from portrero to the cat club without smearing our make-up in one night is going to happen anytime soon.

Goth girls like to smoke and gossip about each other a lot  which skaters never do--oh wait, they do do that. Maybe it is possible.

If I'm wearing headphones it usually means I'm concentrating. Don't be offended if I don't want to talk.

I prefer doing stuff to listening to a lot of long speeches, presentations, etc.
