Pulse Choker Hack Notes, July 8th, 2009[edit | edit source]
- we found 4 different LED/phototransistor parts which would make suitable sensors
- we found axial LEDs
- ordered both of above from digikey
- tested epoxy job on sm led from last time - still quite weak (but much stronger than crimp bead effort)
- new epoxy job on radial LED legs, with more surface area we're hoping for a much stronger bond. If this works, axial LEDs will be perfect.
- also trying sm epoxy again
