Former San Franciscan, former software developer, now (2013) grad student in cognitive science and computer science at Indiana University. I come to San Francisco a couple times a year to recharge my brain, and when I do, I always get a dose of charge at Noisebridge.
Former San Franciscan, working now (December 2025) on becoming a San Franciscan again. Been coming to Noisebridge an average of about two or three times a year since 2009. Software developer, got a Ph.D. in cognitive science and computer science under Douglas Hofstadter in 2023. Now returning to my roots in good ol' software engineering—Python, C++, embedded, backend, AI, whoever hires me first.
