Often these can broad discussions can raise issues that feel incredibly important to some people while inappropriate to others. Such a meeting to affirm values and focus, the then-current emphasis, should be done in a "gather suggestions phase" and "measure breadth of support, and countervailing concerns". Purpose -- could be better? clearer? Better pursued?[edit source]
We have the Bylaws adopted in 2008 planning and 2009 incorporation. In the Bylaws we set out the purpose of the space, Bylaws#3.1_Purpose. Does that purpose need updating? Can we better fulfill the mission? Does it fully and accurately reflect our activities? Does it invite us to still better ones?
