[edit | edit source]Hackmeet is a one day unconference and skillshare in the tradition of hackmeetings which have been going on in Italy, Spain, and elsewhere since the late 90s. [1] [2] [3]
The first Hackmeet was held in October 2007 at New College, drawing in hackers, activists, artists, and hacktivists from throughout the west coast.. Hackmeet 2.0 was held in October 2011 at Noisebridge.
