I am a veteran burner 2000-2003 with ToA and miss it very much. I was injured in 2004 and am now a differently able individual who loves to create and dream of things to come. I am also on SSI due to injury and trauma from the accident in 2004 and have become somewhat of an agoraphobic introvert. In an attempt to overcome this crippling condition I am going back to school to get a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am enrolled at CCSF for summer classes and have much to learn. I currently live aboard a 37 foot sailboat with the only person who didn't walk away from me, most others walked away because of ignorance and fear of my injuries and conditions. I am sure they will eventually return once they see I have adapted or overcome my problems. I love Steampunk, Dieselpunk, Cyberpunk, D&D, Shadow Run, the SCA and Science Fiction etal. I am slowly learning the electric violin. I would love to learn more about CAD, CnC machining, and 3D printing. I am non-violent, non-judgmental, LGBT friendly person on a very limited budget looking for some place to create, share, and learn. I have 2 children, both in college, that are fun and creative burner veterans as well. I look forward to meeting others, with like minds, to explore the great mysteries of future ideas still yet unrealized.
