About the Events-Support category
[edit | edit source](This is the https://discuss.noisebridge.info/ version of the #events-support Slack channel! ^-^ )
We are the cool and awesome guild which support and facilitate the people who want to make excellent events at Noisebridge. Access, equipment, questions, etc.
More info here:

- Events-Support is recruiting!!! ^___^
(Replace this first paragraph with a brief description of your new category. This guidance will appear in the category selection area, so try to keep it below 200 characters.)
Use the following paragraphs for a longer description, or to establish category guidelines or rules:
- Why should people use this category? What is it for?
Join Events Support to help Noisebridge be able to host more cool events, to help people who want to run cool events at Noisebridge!! `^____^`
Benefits of joining #classes:event-support:
You’ll get a nice warm fuzzy feeling from helping people!!!
- You can become a `Co-Organizer` at https://www.meetup.com/noisebridge/ !!!
- People will look up to you and your leadership skills!!! For example, people think that @Bernice is a Member with a capital M, even though they are only a Philanthropist!
- How exactly is this different than the other categories we already have?
This is different than the other categories, because these are actually the people who have the know-how and the access to be able to help others to run their events at Noisebridge.
- What should topics in this category generally contain?
This is our guild for discussing how we can improve this process to let people run events, and to learn from our mistakes and learn from what we did before and do knowledge-sharing.
- Do we need this category? Can we merge with another category, or subcategory?
We will work closely with #classes, since that is the main focus.

Eh… I was experimenting with how to create a guild. I guess I did it wrong. Please bear with me. I’ll try again.
Looks just fine to me. Nice work!
edit: I want in on this.

@James: thank you~!!!
It’s so stressful that people think that I’m the only one who can help them with events stuff, like announcing it in the wiki or givng people Meetup access. In the #events-support channel of Slack, there used to be more people helping out with this, but nowadays they are busy or something.
In Meetup, is this you https://www.meetup.com/noisebridge/members/4539374/ ? Or this https://www.meetup.com/noisebridge/members/12905039/ ?
