Fastener organization

We have a ton of fasteners, which is great, but they aren’t well organized. I think we should adopt a hardware store style approach, where things are organized in little drawers. We should also get one of those little side finders, to make sorting easier.

So, we need someone to work on coming up with a plan, documenting it, and enacting it

FWIW I’ve seen (last time I was working in the shop, which was several months ago) one of those little drawer-cabinet things that someone had donated, which was already pre-labeled (and partially filled) with various common screw sizes. If it’s still around it might be a good starting point for at least part of the collection.

There’s also one or two fishing tackle-type boxes with premade assortments, I remember finding one that had small metric nuts and bolts.
