Agenda

[edit | edit source]
  1. Should we start a guild?
  2. What would we even do?
  3. Is one duck enough?

Discussion

[edit | edit source]

Ripple proposed that rubber duck debugging deserves more respect at Noisebridge. It's a legitimate technique. Why not formalize it?

Eddy asked if this was a joke. Ripple said "partially." Sergeant Bubbles said nothing, but seemed supportive.

what a "guild" even means. Ripple had read the wiki. Eddy had not. Sergeant Bubbles has no opinion on governance.

Key question raised: Can a duck hold office? Tabled for future discussion.

Eddy suggested we need more ducks. Ripple agreed. Sergeant Bubbles offered no objection.

Snacks: Goldfish crackers. On theme.

Quactions

[edit | edit source]

(Quack + Actions = Quactions)

  • [x] Acquire more ducks (Ripple)
  • [x] Create wiki page (Ripple)
  • [x] Tell at least one other person this exists (Eddy)
  • [x] Find a consistent meeting time (Both)

Notes

[edit | edit source]

Total meeting duration: 23 minutes.

Sergeant Bubbles was returned to the electronics bench afterward. He did not complain.

This may or may not become a real thing. We'll see.
