HOLIDAY SCHEDULE CONFIRMED:

• Nov 10: Regular meeting
• Nov 17: Last meeting before break
• Nov 24: NO MEETING (Thanksgiving)
• Dec 1: NO MEETING (travel prep)
• Dec 8: NO MEETING (various travel)
• Dec 15: NO MEETING (holidays)
• Dec 22: NO MEETING (holidays)
• Dec 29: NO MEETING (CCC)
• Jan 5, 2025: RETURN + DUCK CENSUS

Six weeks off. The longest break since founding. But necessary.

DUCK MIGRATION PLAN:

Several members traveling to other hackerspaces over the break:

• Ripple → CCC (Hamburg): Taking Admiral Quackbar. Will attempt to facilitate "international debugging sessions."
• Quorum → CCC (Hamburg): Taking Null Pointer. "European software has bugs too."
• Flotsam → Visiting family + NYC Resistor: Taking Virginia Wool. "She's well-dressed enough for New York."
• Eddy → Staying local: Will check on Sergeant Bubbles, Duckminster Fuller, Duck Norris weekly.
• Lumen → Meditation retreat: No duck. "I need to be the duck for a while."

Ducks traveling with humans = "migration." This is now official terminology.

Philosophy Circle: November 9th topic — "What do the ducks experience?" (Lumen admits this is unanswerable but wants to explore it anyway.)

Notes

Duration: 42 minutes.

It feels strange to plan for absence. But guilds need rest too. The ducks will migrate. The humans will scatter. And in January, we'll return.
