🚨 DUCK NORRIS INCIDENT 🚨
During the meeting, Quorum picked up Duck Norris to demonstrate something and squeezed him.
No squeak.
Squeezed again. Nothing.
Quorum: "Oh no."
Duck Norris's squeaker has failed. After months of service. In front of everyone.
Moment of silence. Actual silence. Even Murk was quiet.
Eddy: (visibly upset) "He was the squeaky one. That was his THING."
Lumen: "All things change. The squeak was temporary. The duck endures."
Murk: "Can we source a replacement squeaker mechanism? I can look into supply chains—"
Ripple: "Murk. Not now."
Duck Norris placed gently in the pond. Discussion of retirement tabled for next week. This needs processing.
The Murk situation: Several members approached Ripple privately before the meeting. Concerns about Murk's "energy" and whether he fits the guild's culture.
Did not address directly today. Too much happening. But it's coming.
