Hey Yall.. I just moved to SF from the Burlington, VT where I studied electrical engineering at the University of Vermont. I was pretty psyched to find a facility like noisebridge and look forward to becoming an active member of the electronics / hacker community. This past summer I worked on an art installation that creates an interactive audio/visual experience. As an individual walks through this musical room, various footpads trigger sounds and lights, while a camera modulates the sounds based on the movement of the body. My contribution was implementing colorful visuals using an Arduino and LEDs diffused in glass bottles that flutter based on the activity of the footpads. I look forward to meeting like minded individuals at the next meeting.
